The Best Day Ever.

Well, I am pretty much having the best day ever, oh yes I am.

Various great things happened this morning, but here are the two that made me feel the best:

1) This morning I opened my mailbox and found a package from Project Wedding.  I was thinking, “what the heck is this?  I don’t have anything to do with Project Wedding!”  Well, it turns out I am one of Project Wedding’s “Best of” for 2008, and they sent me a cardboard sign and a window decal!  Sweet!

2) (and this is the kicker), I got a recipe from one of my blog readers, Heather!  She sent me a recipe for Vegetarian Matzo Ball Soup, which one of her friends makes.  I am so, so excited to make this, and so INCREDIBLY TOUCHED that she thought of me and went to the trouble of calling her friend to get the recipe.  Thank you SO MUCH, Heather!  Just last night I was thinking, “crap, I can’t eat anything at the Seder this year!”  I will now be making my own matzo ball soup and bringing it with me to my cousin’s house.  I can’t even tell you how happy it made me to get this.  Talk about a random act of kindness!  You rock, Heather from New York!  Thank you so much!!!

I also have to say that my warm and fuzzy feelings didn’t start today. A couple of weeks ago, one of my clients, Tammy, sent me the cutest little package of lip glosses I have ever seen:

She sent these along with a thank you note for doing her wedding theme.  I was so giddy and felt so special.  I keep one in my purse and one on my desk (and two for when those run out!) and every time I use them, I feel really happy.  Thank you so much, Tammy!

I am feeling really, really warm and fuzzy inside, and super blessed to be able to do this for a living.  I love you, guys.  I really, really do.
