Website Update

Good morning everyone!  I hope you are all having a fantastic day.

The past few days I have been obsessively working on my website.  Remember the other day when I was talking about quitting Etsy?  Well, an awesome commenter named Mr. Zombie suggested BigCartel instead.

I’ve had a shop here on my website for nearly a year, so I wasn’t really looking for a new system.  But then I started thinking about it–my setup was annoying to update and somewhat user unfriendly.  BigCartel leaves a bit to be desired (for example, I wish they had nesting categories, so I could organize my greeting cards by type.  I also wish I could send a nice confirmation email from me to my customers, rather than just from Paypal), but overall it’s really awesome.  I highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a shop.

So I replaced my old shop with a new, BigCartel-powered shop (I also added a few new cards to the shop, so check them out!), which is perfectly integrated with the new look for my website.  The website isn’t a complete overhaul, but I’ve changed quite a few things about it.  Hopefully the website as a whole now looks a bit more polished and is more user-friendly.
